On a May 2021 trip to Moab, Utah, I was able to visit the Big Three of Moab: Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park and Arches National Park.
My trip started at Canyonlands National Park, with a morning sunrise at Mesa Arch. Mesa Arch is known as one of the best sunrise locations in Moab, and this morning did not disappoint.
After sunrise and exploring the surrounding area to Mesa Arch, I was treated to a few Mule Deer.
Here are some other examples of the unique landscapes found at Canyonlands National Park.

Before making my way to Arches National Park, I arrived late in the day at Dead Horse Point State Park, hiked around the entire rim of the canyon, to arrive at Dead Horse Point just in time for sunset. After the sun actually went down, then the true beauty of the canyon came out.
After enjoying both Canyonlands and Dead Horse, it was time to finally make it to Arches National Park.
Here is a small sample of the great scenery I encountered at Arches, including great arches, fins, a balanced rock, and other unique rock formations.

Plus I also encountered this really cool mother Rock Squirrel near the Double O Arch.
